Here's another photo I took now. It doesn't have any artificial noise. Taken 400D + 18-55IS at ISO1600, f/8, 1/6 hand held. Lit up by table lamp from a few feet away.

Suggestions for improvements needed.

Nice. Maybe a bit more contrast and a bit more space on the left hand and bottom edge.

Clone out the mark on the wall and I say you are sorted for a good pic.

It was cropped out from the left and bottom edges! I did try the higher contrast look. Maybe I'll give it another shot. Thanks :)

Here is the updated one. My first time with the Clone/Heal tool. It was the gradient of the light in both the axes that was making it tough for me to clone it out. I need to practice more.

WINNER! I like that much better. The blacks look black and the composition works better for me. The table edge just gives it a bit of depth.

Nice!

Thanks :) I learned the cloning (a bit) and healing tools because of your post. :D

Good to hear. Should try the colour burn and dodge tools too sometime.

Editing on computer has soooo many options, hope you got the patience to learn as much as you can. :)
