Thanks Tony! I was lucky enough to get access to standing right at the dugouts behind a waist-high chain link fence. This was from my second ever attempt at baseball, getting the timing right in baseball is really tough...seemed like every time I tried to get the action shot with the ball in frame, I missed it because it was spaced just right between shutter clicks. Then this was a night game and the field had terrible lighting, by the 5th inning I couldn't muster anything better than 1/25 sec at f/2.8 and ISO 3200, so I put all the gear away and went back to the bleachers with a beer and a brat and watched the rest of the game
