ID this spider

This little guy's been camped out in my backyard on the top opening of a portable chair bag for a while. the webbing is asymmetrical and "crackly" and sticky like a black widow, but the spider itself doesn't look like one (and the abdomen seems too small to the rest of the body for a black widow. and of course, there's the lack of the hourglass on the belly.

anyways, any ideas?
