Looking for border suggestions for this picture. It seems so...peaceful to me that I don't want the sharp edges around it. I would like some type of border, or fade out, that compliments the mood of the photo. CC of course welcome as well. Thanks for looking.

If youve cropped this in then you wouldnt lose any detail like I have around the edges. But heres my take on what could work. And great shot btw.

it's cropped so tightly, that I wouldn't want to add any borders to it. may i ask why you want to add borders to it? will it be posted online, be in newsprint, advertisement, or printed out?

i think it looks fine without a border

I think the crop is too tight to leave you with many options besides just a frame.

Can't you just increase the size of the canvas and then add a border? This wouldn't affect any of the original photo.

I believe I have a tutorial bookmarked on my work computer for this. I will post tomorrow.
