This years Pacific Coast Air Museum air show was Aug 16 & 17. As always they put on a great show! I got the chance to attend on sunday and heres what I got.
1.

Did you have any problems photographing Paul Lopez in the green and navy MX-2? I could hardly track the guy through the air at our show back in May.

Thanks everyone for your positive feedback! This was only my second attempt at shooting an airshow so Im still learning every time. My only complaint is that I wish I had a longer lens. The 70-200 is great but not nearly long enough. What is everyone esle using?

We ended up somehow in the VIP section right on the taxi way. It was a pretty awesome spot for not having a media pass!

I only like to shoot aerobatics when they're going slow or doing vertical maneuvers so I didnt even attempt to track him on his high speed passes. He changes direction so fast it would be pretty difficult!
