Took the afternoon off and went to the downtown airport to practice too! Was happy with what I got today. But things were slow at the airport. The Tunderbirds finally got up. Here's a couple from today.

Aug 23, 2008 10:32 | #4 Much better weather than what they forcasted for today. However, I think it'll be cooler this weekend than it was yesterday. We had the jet doing the PA flights here yesterday. I was doing a PT test or else I would have gone out to take photos. Took about 1200 shots, most dont look to good, they have a haze about them with not much sharpness. I know my rig was working, everything but the arial shots looked great. Maybe it was the air conditions. Im going down to the rail yard today, much closer. 60D, Canon 18-135 IS, Sigma 10-20 hsm, 24-70 2.8 hsm, 70-200 2.8 hsm, 430EX II, and all the other stuff that goes along with it.

Great place to shoot from if they come from the north. 60D, Canon 18-135 IS, Sigma 10-20 hsm, 24-70 2.8 hsm, 70-200 2.8 hsm, 430EX II, and all the other stuff that goes along with it.
