This "L" lens may fall into my lap through a business client of mine.
I am not that familiar with it as I have never had the chance to hold one.
It does have IS and Push-Pull zoom.
Any feed back would be appreciated.

Don't worry about the push-pull zoom, you'll get used to that in a day or two. I can't believe people actually have a problem with it, it's NOT a problem. I have had no problem shooting it at wide open aperture almost all the time. It's substantially heavier than the 70-300 IS and the IS on 100-400 is less effective than for former; however, I like the 100-400 more than the 70-300 IS. Last but not least, I like its push-pull zooming.
