I almost never take macro shots, so I'm always stunned by how sharp and colorful the bug photos you guys take compared to the ones I manage. I don't have a true macro lens, so the following was taken with my Tamron 28-75mm "macro" lens nearing sunset. Please critique and let me know how it could be improved (both pre and post capture). Thanks!

D'oh! I guess my macro shots need some improvement on visibility. That's rather strange. I uploaded it to Picasa and the direct link looks fine in Firefox. I even fired up a new IE session with the direct link and it worked there too. In any case, uploaded to a new location.
