I have 2 older model Calumet Travelite 750s. They're the ones with the metal casings and are at least 12 years old. I got them used several years ago.
In that whole time I hadn't ever used them in such a way as to notice that one of the strobes, when set to full power, recharges 2x as fast but only puts out 1/2 the power as the other when it's set to full power.
I've heard of reconditioning the capacitors, and sometimes it's said you simply leave it plugged in and powered up for 24 hours, and sometimes people reccomend you do a complicated set of powering up, firing, powering back up and waiting, then firing . . .
anyone have advice?
