Not sure what type of pp you did in #1, but I like it. The subdued colors work well. Not a fan of two, maybe 'cuz the spider web, but the web might have worked with some dew in it or something. #3 is cool, too.

I really like #3.
#1 Looks like a tweaner. (Between two ideas) It may be the crop
#2 Looks a little naked. I'm sure you were after the slim expression. I would like to see the web to be played up more in PP, I think it would help the composition. Looks like you nailed the DoF
#3 Wow, not sure if this was a happy accident or what but its vey cool. May be it talks to my trippy past but it evokes a response. How'd you make it.

I am a total amature so take my comments for what they are worth. I apprecite the posting. Nice work.

Thanks for the comments

#1 sort of was a tweaner, I took about 6 shots of the statue from different angles to try and get some decent shots of it, and that was just one effect I was trying that didnt work too well on the other images, ill post up the other one I did of the other shot of the statue

Yes I see what you mean about #2, I didnt actually realise the spiderweb was there until I zoomed in on the shot :D

Ill revisit it, to see if I can boost the web a bit, I only took that shot as we were waiting for the kids to finish on one of the rides :)

#3 I got the effect I was after, and it was only the 2nd shot :) so I guess it was a sort of lucky shot

I did it by slowing the shutter speed down a bit and zooming whilst pressing the shutter :)

Ok with #1 here is a different shot with some different pp on it

I really like the texture of the first one. Not so hot on the rest (but that's just me).

What is the #3? Prolong exposure with a zoom added in?

Thanks for the comments

I am still learning too, so all the comments are valuable

#3 yes its a zoom burst, I cant remember the shutter speed now, but I slowed it down a little or just enough to give me time to twist the zoom :)
