I'm sorry but you're still not making much sense.

Nikon had 'Automatic Multi-Pattern', which is similar to Canon's Evaluative.

Looks to me as though this is a term imposed by the software reading the EXIF data. It is not one used by Canon.

Simple way of finding out would be to take a shot in each of the metering modes then look at the EXIF to see what it's recorded as.
