I have just updated my firmware on my 20D and ever since I did this I have been getting very cold shots. I am shooting RAW and the camera is set to 6200K for the colour temp and Custom WB is off. The camera would shoot 3 or 4 shots of the model fine and then shoot the next 7 or 8 at 3850K (always 3850K for some reason) and then it would go back to a perfect exposure and would go through the whole process again. Has anyone else had this problem? I was also using studio flashes if that changes anything. Also note that I have only had this problem since I did the update to V2.0.3. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you using AWB? Maybe your flash (if used) is misfiring.

Try this ... set the WB to something fixed (say 2800K or FLASH, yeah opposite ends of the color spectrum) and then take a bunch of shots.

Shoot RAW+L. See if the JPGs are consistent in color. You can always readjust the RAW to fix the WB of the photo.

NOTE: other lighting source can change your AWB.

That is curious. Maybe try re-flashing the firmware.

Mind posting examples?
