Frames or not when PP'ing

How many of you add frames to your shots when posting on the web ?

Is it a good idea or not, should it only be for select images

Ive bought Mike's Framer for CS3 and the last shots I have uploaded ive added a frame and copyright

I know a lot of people dont do it, and for some shots I think it finishes the shot off (if not going off to be printed)

What does everyone else think

Some shots it can really add to - I think it's a bit overdone, though. Depends a great deal on the shot!

I often add a thin stroke to prevent the image bleeding into the background.

Well I have to say I agree with you, but then again I might be a bit biased

A thin stroke does make some photo's stand out and I always (apart from Wedding Album photos) always add a small copyright mark..

took a few seconds to realise it was you Mike

I do like them, but I dont think every shot needs them, but they certainly finish off shots ive taken for friends

I generally dont as ive yet to see a single frame effect i like. All seem to detract from the image somewhat.

I think it adds a nice touch depending on the photo.
