Dozer the Mastiff: 16 weeks and 65 pounds

I've been trying to get a decent portrait of Dozer lately and finally decided to take one of my studio flashes outside and shoot him with an umbrella. It was an overcast day. I metered the ambient light with a Sekonic L-358, and then set the flash power close to the same reading.

He's amazingly handsome!!!!! You did a great job with this shot... I have a similar problem shooting my white cat - he's too white!!!!! hehehe

Mastiffs are wonderful dogs. Great shot! Take pics like this every few weeks until he's a year or 2.. The change in size is incredible...

Try to include the paws as well next time. The paws are better to include than a bigger part of its back!

Turk looks like a great dog, beatiful too. Was he wild as the wind when he was a puppy?

Dozer belongs to my stepdaughter I just babysit him during the day while she's at work. This is the first Mastiff I've had the pleasure to be associated with.

Dozer is a wild child and constantly has me laughing at his playful antics. Helping to raise him has added much to my life.
