We had a rare thunderstorm here today, so I went straight to the beach as fast as I could after work. Missed the lightning, but still had some neat clouds:

My eyes are bothering me tonight, so I can't tell if the first one is a bit out of focus, or if it's just me. I've decided that I like the lighting and shadows in it enough that I don't really care.

Nice shots, the first one doesn't seem out of focus to me. The second one is a little dark though.

They are both nice, but I like the composition of the second one better, although it's a bit dark.

Looks like the second shot is another victim of processing on the glossy iMac screen. I'll have to bump the brightness up another stop or two when I get home.
