Hello Everyone,
I am trying to find some suggestions for a light setup. I should start off by saying I own a Canon EOS Rebel XSi 450D and have a WhiBal on the way. My intention with these pictures is to have consistent professional looking results with vivid bright colors. An emphasis on consistent and vividly bright colors.
I need to take some simple pictures of shirts for my website. Two sets: The first set is a group picture of them folded and stacked on top of one another (3-4’ high) in stacks side by side (3-5’ wide). The other set is going to be individual shots of them flat on the ground. (I will be isolating the shirts in Photoshop so they have no background.)
For the shot with the shirts folded and stacked on top of one another, my plan is to use a 5’x4’x4’ light box (Not sure, but I figured a light box would simplify the lighting at the same time create a brighter shot.......???).
For the individual shots of the shirts I am going to simply lay them flat on a black or green background.
I’m hoping with the simplicity of these two shots I can get this done on the cheap. Any suggestions or links would be great.
Thank you,
Alec
