not together though!

from my recent trip to japan.

shinkansen (bullet train) coming out of a tunnel just as another was going past. Unfortunately this looks pretty static as it was a high shutter speed, but it was a grabshot as we had just gotten off the previous train.

the pirate ship on lake ashinoko near mt. fuji. Took some persuading to get on, as my daughter thought there were real pirates on it :)

shot of the pirate ship showing the other ship they use on the lake in the distance.

Those ship photos are great!! I really like the juxtaposition of the last. One thing though - what's up with the line in front of the person's face in the second one?? It almost looks like a blend line from two shots but that can't be - can it?

just noticed - yes I think its a post or something. does look a little distracting, might clone it out. I have some shots without the crowd, but I liked the context.

Nice set! Especially the bullet train there. It reminds me of how antiquated Amtrak is when the Coast Starlight rolls by here some 3-4 hours late! :D
