My second post ever on this forum.

I bought my G1 few weeks ago and I love it!

So i had to put few of my best shots on the net for every1 to see them.

Only 9 pics currently (I have taken over 600 pics but most are very "low" quality vaction pics etc.) but there are more to come in the near future.

The address is: http://lauri.afactory.net/www/gallery/ (external link)

Site contains Finnish language but i bet you all know how to click thumbnails =)
I would love to get some feedback on this forum or by email. Thanks!

PS. Do you think i should include the picture data with the picture or is it cool just to show pictures?

Nice gallery! Simple and easy to use, *except* for a few of my personal peeves:
(a) your images are a little big, so they load slowly. And most people will have to scroll to view the image. I would suggest a smaller size to overcome these two problems. For example, my largest images are 600x800 pixels, and Pekka's are 1000x750 approx.
(b) once a viewer goes to a large image, viewer must use browser back button to return to gallery to view another image. This breaks the viewing flow. I would recommend back, up and forward buttons so that all navigation options are available to the viewer on the page. (you can see various implementations of this on my site, as I changed layout over time!)

Anyway, keep exposing yourself! and good luck,

cheers,

I was just thinking about those two problems.

First of all i always forget the imagesize due to the fact i have a 2mb ADSL line and 500k images don't seem to be so large.

Second of all i was going to put a real page with back buttons etc. for every large image but i was too lazy. Im going to fix that, maybe tomorrow if i have time.
The whole site is under construction but i just had to put some pictures there :)

Tomorow the gallery might also get new images because there is a music festival in town and im going for a concert featuring few of my old friends and there is no way im going to leave my G1 at home.

But thanks for your comments. I hope ill get more feedback.
