I will go to an air show and this is what I plan to do for the shooting. Camera (Canon 5D & 40D), Lens (100-400 mm, 24-105 mm), Focus (All servo), Speed priority set at 1/300 for propellers, 1/1000 for jets, F stop 5.6-8.ASA 400. Is it better to set the focusing at infinity instead? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

If you want "prop blur" you need to have SS set at 1/160 or slower. Set your camera to center focus AI servo and pray as they wizzzzz by.
