I tried to bounce my flash off the ceiling once. Left a mark on the ceiling and broke my flash.

I was going to the gym.. :D they were using the parking garage of the gym as their staging area.

they were pretty vigilant about not letting me take pictures, though they really had no legal right to, and i threw it back at them, and snapped what i could (there really wasn't much going on while i was there, probably didn't start the real shooting til midnight+.

it was in long beach, btw.. but yeah, from the looks of the cop cars, probably set in china/HK.

They were in my neck of the woods a couple of months ago (Bethlehem Steel, Bethlehem, PA). I only managed a few cruddy shots.

i was shooting the buildings since they wouldn't let me near the freeway.. i had my 17-50 f/2.8 tamron, without a flash.. was disassembling the camera from the tripod, when the caravan rolled in.. i had to make do with just the flash on the camera.. :(

they're shooting again tonight, i may drive around a bit after work, to see which roads they managed to close off, and where i may be able to set up to shoot shots of them.. :D

Oh, I was thinking, when was Optimus in Hong Kong? But now I know there's another movie. Great opportunity for shots, nice find.

i was barely able to even try to shoot the thing before i had to gather up my camera bag before it got blown off the parking garage.
