It was a sad sight, but I felt compelled to capture the last moments as this stapler fought valiantly against greater numbers....

Oh man.. this is going to be so hard to judge!

so I am looking over these... I will announce a winner soon!

So after a lot of contemplation -- I decided to open an excel file and mark each one for the following categories - creativity, humour, effort and use of lighting to achieve a certain look.. marked each section out of five so i ended up with a score out of 20. (this is my tutoring days in University coming back to me).

So, as far as lighting was concerned, I think Cuyepers made good use of the light to bring out the image, and good PP also. and MSGJD's entry is worth mentioning for its shadows behind the pencils... how did you get them to stand up without falling?

There above is my breakdown...

and the winner is ---- Dilorenzo! Nice work with the push pins and a flowerbed, and the "SPO" dog is just too cute... As you can see three others could have could have had this, but Dilorenzo edged off slightly!!

I have to say it was one hoot of a challenge! Had a lot of fun with this and love the results that this creative forum came up with!

I believe you raised the bar on challenge topics, CONGRATULATIONS!

Boy! I knew this was going to be close! The photography part aside, coming up with a creative use of pencils, staples and such was another challenge. Great work everybody! And thanks for the nod towards my entry, DM! I will have a challenge up soon...
