These are a couple from my first session. High sun, blue sky. What a way to start off!!

I did fire my 580 EXII but it didn't do much compared to the sun. ;)

I think you did well with the exposure considering the circumstances. However, the background in #1 is not working for me... I think it's a bench? and the odd placement of the water spray contributes to the issue for me. Also, in both poses she's leaning on her arms making them appear quite bulky and a bit overbent, for lack of a better word.

I see what you mean about the arms. I have alot to learn about posing. Hopefully that will come as I gain experience.

Yup, the park bench I don't like either. Her mom was there & pretty much picked the spots AND the poses. :eek: It was kinda frustrating, both for me & the young gal.

Crop on 1 is a little weird, but 2 is a nice shot.
