My new 100-400mm lens arrived today, so I dragged it down to Seahurst park to test it out. Had some fun with the evening light and the nice zoom range, although I'm pretty sure that all my favorites are only at 100mm. Click the images for Flickr and EXIF.

Good contrasts in number one:
color/earthtones
sharp/bokeh
curves/straight lines
small texture/large spaces
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the compliments. Now if only the weather would co-operate here so I could play with the new lens some more.

And I have to admit I took it to work today to show it off, since I work with a bunch of camera geeks.
