Just got myself a canon 20D

and was in the local store today and saw the 420EZ flash for £39 ($80)

and was wondering i know ill have to use it in manual, but if i just needed a fill flash for bouncing etc would this still be an ideal flash on the hot shoe

and i could use it for some off camera lighting as well

and get some ebay triggers!

Thanks

Rogan

Yup it will be fine. I just got the 430EZ and on camera, it can be used for anything providing a manually set it. Same with triggers. Manual use will be fine.
