The 2008 annual fund raiser sponsored by a local grocery distributor to raise money for special olympics. Last year they raised $80,000. Just a few of the 1,000's of bikes that went by.

Now this is an interesting one.

I really enjoy the last pic. The look on the nearside rider's face is great.

Fully agree, the last one is a winner. All great shots though.

Thanks all for the nice comments. The last is my favorite for that very reason, trouble is he's looking right at me, and I'm not to sure what that expression means.:lol::lol:

Thanks. That was one sweet looking bike, matter of fact there were a bunch of beauties there with somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000 bikes you can't miss. Took over one half hour to all go by and that was doing close to 30 MPH, each bike(r) pays $30 the rider costs another $20 they make a lot of money for the special olympics.

It was a great ride, allthough I don't think I have ever spent that much time in 3rd gear or under... The weather was perfect, only downside was in trying to find your bike at the end of it... and those are some great pictures :)

That second photo is a Spyder! Info here...http://www.motorcycle-usa.com …_Page.aspx?ArticleID=4456 (external link)

We have a toy run here in Tulsa that usually has about 8,000 bikes, it takes about 3-4 hours for all of them to come by!

Welcome to Connecticut, every year they try to pass a helmet law and every year riders descend on the State Capitol and protest, and down goes the bill. I will say that there were quite a few with helmets. It runs about 50/50 here.
