I never ride without a helmet... in fact I even wear chaps leather jacket boots and gloves. But I guess that come from watching a few freinds having shards of denim being pulled out of wounds and seeing the scars from a 20 yard slide...

Smart move on your part, I do agree though that it should be a matter of choice and if you're smart you'll do what you do. I've spent many years doing survey's for police accident reconstruction Bikes v poles/trees, or bikes v cars guess what the bike almost always loses. the name is Winston but they call me Sandy
