That's a really good lens. One of Canon's best non-L creations. It was my first purchase after I got my camera, actually. Yes, you get significant barreling at 10mm, but it smooths out pretty quickly after that.

You'll find that its focal length makes it a very good companion for the 28-135. Probably 95 percent of my shooting is done with one of these two pieces of glass. Enjoy!

A great lens, specially for landscaping and near-far compositions. Put something very close to the lens as foreground and something in the background and at 10mm you will have a lot of depth in the picture, the wider the lens the more depth you have in your perspective.

CONGRATS!

LOVE this lens. It is my absolute favourite lens ever... including going back to the FD mount days.

I've found the best way to have fun with it is to just use it like crazy. Use it when you normally wouldn't... use it when people say you shouldn't. It rocks.

Wow, I know the 10-22 is nice but replacing a 16-35L with it. Was your L just not wide enough?

This one is on my short list of things to get. For some reason though, I feel like it would be more in the "things to play with catagory". Not really my shooting style right now, but that would probably change a little if/when I get one.
