Was bored again today, went down to the river and got this image.

Would really like some reccomendations for these types of shots. Please back yourself up if you have any negative comments.

I like this shot. The pose is a little unusual but very nice because of this. (It's not unusual as in bad, but unusual as in uncommon.) I also like the tone of the image.


About the only thing that really bothers me is the large wing on the right. I don't mind the clipped wingtip of the lower left bird but the large wing is a bother, especially because it blocks a bird in the water.

It also looks a little underexposed but I just turned my monitor on so it could be me.


As to a recommendation my only one would be to wait for less clutter in the background. This isn't bad, but less would have been better.


You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
