Trials Mountain-biking

A friend of mine wanted me to take some pictures of him bouncing around so we popped out last weekend for a photo session.

This is the first time shooting this subject, so I look forward to hearing for CC.

Just one thing backgrounds, try and get an angle with a better background and shoot wide open to blow it

You've got some excellent subject matter there. If you cant blur out the backgrounds using wide apertures, get much much closer and much lower. Use flash if the sky is overly bright. Here's one from yesterday as an example: http://www.flickr.com/​photos/tobinators/2814​025360/

Thanks for the suggestions. I plan to do some more in the next few weeks. At the time i was thinking about blurring the background more but felt it wasn't as distracting as it could have been. But i'll give it a wirl next time
