Hi Alan, my mini trekker is an older model so it doesn't have one but usually they are on the bottom of the bag towards the back (where it would be closest to your body). It would almost look like a split in the bag at a seem. You would pull it apart and pull the cover out and over the bag. The seem is kept together with velcro and don't pull the cover too hard because it is attached to the bag. Hope you find it!

Regards, Peter

Thanks for the reply

Isn't that strange .I have the green and black AW one, and there is no velcro'd split, just the seem.

Any chance of taking a quick pic ?

Hmmm....like I said, mine doesn't have one. However, try this youtube video with a fellow showing his. It looks like a little flap on the bottom with the rain cover protecting the bottom (meaning while put away it acts as water protection if the bag is placed on the ground). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwRSTXr4xmc (external link) . He doesn't pull it out but shows where it is. Hope this helps.

You can buy separate rucksack rain covers for about US$15 and they fit the minitrekker (I have one)

i could be wrong but i think the green/black mini trekkers are the old styles that they have which are not AW(all weather) so therefore it doesnt have that protector.

Those rain covers can be sneaky, I was convinced my bag somehow didn't have one for a few months. Then one day I randomly discovered the velcro seam and presto...a rain cover came out of nowhere!
