Great shots, number 1 in particular. I hope they called the 15 yard personal foul on #3. What were you shooting with?

Awesome shots! #1 looks like a touchdown was saved, but you need the blue players to help tell the story. Unfortunately, they are cut in half. I really like #s 2, 3, and 5: great focus, great eyes, great cropping!

I like one, but I do wish it was shot from the other side.

My jealousy oozes from every orfus. Gross? Maybe a tad. But those pictures are where I aspire to be. Amazing!

Very nicely done! What's your set up for these? Even with the high ISO's the grain reduction is awesome!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. All images were with Mark III and 300 2.8. High ISO images have been run through NN and USM

They did not call a facemask on #3... Considering the ref was a few feet from me looking at the same thing I guess it was a double facemask "no call"

I agree being on the opposite side for #1 would be ideal but you get what you get :)

I guess not all MKIII's have focus problems. Great work and I would trade my first born for lighting like that.

Another thread with 1D MKIII and great results, that prove that MKIII can do a great job if someone knows how to use it, maybe this MKIII has a focus issue but i didn't see anything above, did you get many focus problem shots and you deleted them?
