Lightroom Q: Is it possilbe to sort by capture time?

I thought you could do this but I can't seem to find it.

I shot an event with 2 bodies and have imported the images in to LR 1. The shots from the second body are came in at the end of the images from the first body but the images tell a story and should be sorted by the time the image was captured, not by file number or sequence of import.

Is there way to do this or do I have to manually reorder them? If that's the case I'm going to let out a big UGH! because that will be a very time consuming process and no fun at all.

Yes.

In the library mode, click the little triangle to the bottom left of the main photo. That should give you a list of filter/sort criteria, one of which should be "sorting". you can use that to sort by capture time.

I agree that it's not intuitive...

Folders are sorted by name.
Use an appropriate name and you are set.

You do that in Explorer (no Exif on a folder). Put Explorer in Detail view, right click on the parameter bar and choose Date Created.
