Anyone know why I can't download post attachments on my iMac? I'm using safari, and whenever I click an attachment, it just downloads as 'attachment.php'. I've tried changing the extension to the one used (ie: JPG) but it still won't work. I've tried both clicking the link as well as right clicking and selecting 'Download Linked File'.

I'm using Safari 3.1.2 on an iMac running OSX 10.4.11

What about right-clicking on a photo and choosing "Save Picture As..."?

Or have I misread your intention here?

Yeah, images that are placed in posts using the IMG tags work fine. But images that are uploaded with a post that show up just as links in an 'attachments' box are what are causing me problems.

Can you give us a link to a thread you're trying this on?

Sure.

All I see on that page is the post, followed by a link to the picture.

EDIT: Sorry, I got things mixed up. It appears as a link when I view it on my iMac, but the actual picture appears when I look at it on my Macbook. My iMac is an intel machine running Tiger, my macbook is running leopard, both with the same version of Safari. I've edited my first post.

Okay, I am really, really stupid.

Never mind, I've found what the problem is.

>_<
