Been shooting about 2 months. Realized that my 50mm f/1.8 hasnt been used for a month so I broke it out. Naturally made the mistake of taking all of my shots in f/1.8 but just looking for feedback otherwise, keep in mind im still a newb.

lol title threw me off, i thought you were talking about a train engine.

how far from the vehicle were you ?

looks very in focus for f1.8

Let me just say that none of them were cropped in PS. I should have shot #3 for example at like f/4 because you can see the passanger's front is not in focus.

There's nothing wrong with that, but you need to MOVE YOUR FEET! A <rant> of sorts. next time?

lol thats why I got the prime, it makes me think when I photo instead of giving me the luxury of zooming.

I like the 3rd shot the best. How far away from the car were you with the 50mm lens? Are you also miata.net? I have a 2000 LS myself. :)

Dont remember how far I was....maybe like 15 feet at most?? Its not cropped. Yes I am on miata.net as MXphilly and also on mazda-speed.com as 04titaniumgrayphilly
