Earlier in the summer i attended an event at the local strip. Took a few snaps of some cars. Let me know what yall think..I have so many more, but im limited to post 8 ..

I like the last one the best.

is it bad that i know that that is sacramento raceway, just from the pics, and you have no location on them. lol. ive been going there since i was 6 weeks old (23 years now). come on out to governors cup next month. we'll be racing this...

Looks like a great ride. Nice wrinkle, too! Be sure & post more shots of it.

ha thanks, I have plenty of action shots also.. i'll post them up when im done with this sickness bug(Cant stare at the monitor for longer than about 60 seconds with my eyes tearing:o)

Some of the shots, like 2,3,6 & 8 I like, and have a lot of potential. However, for me, you seem to miss optimum framing and composition a little. Some of them need more room on one side or another, and this may be your post-crop, or your framing.

Just my humble opinion.

Good point, But the one hard thing about taking pictures at the track is theres always stupid things in the way that you dont really want in a picture ya know? .. There is no perfect picture, unless i asked them to drive to the far back of the lot. So i had to cut those out of the picture. I had so many great shots but there was always little things in the shot that ruined them.

A few ways around it:

Shoot wider, and let the atmosphere soak in.
Scout out best locations - maybe 2 or 3, that will give you the best backgrounds. Stick to those locations.
Shoot narrower, and close in on interesting detail - like rubber burning, a hand on a wheel, etc.
Shoot at wider aperture, and blur out that background clutter.
