Sorting Photos... Again.

So here I am spending hours sorting the last 12 months of photos, deleting the duds, converting what is still in RAW, categorising etc...

Meanwhile my wife is out scrap-booking 400 prints of the best of the above!

And I thought digital is supposed to make life easier.

You do have to ask yourself if it takes a year to sort and convert from RAW, was it worth taking the photos in the first place? Well I for one found some real family gems tonight :D Makes it worth while.

Why would you wait 12 months to edit and sort? Do it as you take them.

honestly you have to be ready from the get go ... have everything clearly structured and sort them as you upload from the memory cards...

Its all a matter of time, i.e. I don't have any. All my paid work gets done promptly, its all the family stuff that quickly falls to the bottom of the pile.
