I like the second shot.
It could have been better if the camera was positioned right in the center of the wheel (hope I am explaining it correctly)

Seems like you have chosen a real bad time to shoot that. There seems to be no detail in the car to really show it for what it is.

the timing was terrible. from 11am -1pm
On top of that it was an absolutely beautiful day with few clouds in the sky. The lighting was very harsh.

I don't really care for the selective coloring on the lighthouse but perhaps keeping the car in color and having the background in BW might look good.... just an idea. Also, the 2nd lighthouse pic is better for me simply because you didn't cut off any of the rear bumper..

Oh and i absolutely love R8's!
