hi everyone, i found this old flash unit (canon 540 EZ) laying around in my house. im just wondering, would i be able to use this on a rebel xsi or xt? i think it only has ATTL but not ETTL. or can i use this as an off-camera slave? thanks.

EZ flashes will not function with ETTL on your cameras mentioned. They can be triggered but you will need to dial in power manually. Will work with some radio triggers also.
