Really enjoyed the Faire & especially meeting all of you from POTN. It was a fun day. Thanks to Curtis for suggesting the meet-up. Hope to be able to make it some more meets or another Photowalk in the future. Definitely want to return to the Ren Faire again next year.

Here's a couple of links to what I have posted from the Faire so far:

Tried to post some photos but was getting error messages.

Thanks to all. See ya soon.

This was before the gates opened and she was meandering around and I got this look.

Yellowroadster - I'm loving that shot of the hawk & the lance breaking during the joust. Super timing.

To get the dust out of the joust pics, in Lightroom, adjust the blacks before touching the exposure, and be generous about it. I then go in and adjust exposure and some brightness/contrast. When I get home, I'll post the original of one of the dusty joust shots so you can see the difference.

Let me second Ed's recommendation above. He and Julie turned me on to this possibility and I am seeing a dramatic reduction in the haze the dust placed in my images.

Holy crap! I was pretty happy with my images but jeez you all make me look like a novice. Great job everyone. I guess I have to keep working. Here are a few of mine and are different just so there isn't any repetition. (although I really can't compare)

I really like the Falcon shots as well.
Just a lucky shot on the lance breaking.
Thanks!

It was pretty hard picking them as 600+ of the 950 shots turned out pretty good.

Really wish it wasn't as dusty. Would have snapped better shots with the 70-200 f/2.8L. There was just no way I could have swapped lenses in those conditions.
Oh well, there's always next year. ;)
Thank you.
