Hi There:
I'm new here and wanted to share a couple of photos I took while I was in Brighton Beach a few weeks ago. I'm really facinated by this area (my grandparents were raised in Brighton too) because it remains one of the few places in NY that has not really changed.

"Not really changed"? For better or worse, Brighton Beach is nothing like it was when your grandparents grew up there. I grew up in Brooklyn and visited Brighton often in the summer. In the past 10-15 yrs Brighton has had a huge Russian population explosion and is actually nicknamed "Little Moscow". Store, signs and citizens reflect the significant change.
Any more pics - would like to see more of Brighton...
