I took this at a bridal session, she was helping us hold the boquet and when my husband walked up she became very shy......Please C&C

It needs more contrast, IMO. A good B&W photo should have every value from black to white present, and this one hovers in the middle ranges.

bingo...its verry muddy, like it was just desaturated....try an adjustment layer of channel mixer to do your b/w conversion, and then if need be another adjsutment layer of levels, curves, or contrast...what ever is your cup o' tea

I have image editing on if anyone can show me what they are talking about??? Any help is greatly appreciated. I have photoshop and I am still learning how to use it.

I read some of the comments, and thought that I would try my hand at making this black/white conversion a bit better...

I also applied a slight vignette to really draw attention to her
