After sitting for just maybe 2-3 minutes, I was able to start snapping. Most were pretty bad because I left my DOF too shallow, but I was pleased with how this one turned out. Got a couple more good ones 2 days ago, too. I love stopping the wing...its a big challenge for me. I got quite the show this last time, and I just love the photos where you can see the details of the wings. As much as harsh sun doesn't work for portraits, it seems to in some cases for birds!
