raising the height of a litepanel micro

i recently acquired a litepanel micro. i need to raise it up higher above the camera. does anyone have any cheap solutions? i really dont want to drop $100 on a flash bracket....just need to raise it up.

Light stands and pocket wizards. They'll fix anything. You spend $300 on equipment but not a cent on a bracket.....:lol:

Seriously - I've not used a panel - what's the environment, are you moving about with it or in a studio? Do you still need to go from landscape to portrait with the camera?

i can hold it up w/ my and for free....i hate the big flash brackets cause they are clunky.

need something very portable....

Then what you need is the off-shoe cord 3 cable to connect the litepanel to the camera (I'm assuming the litepanel is ETTL compatible, if not, then all you'll need is a PC sync cable).

the litepanel is batter powered. it is not ettl, just a continuous light source that has the ability to change the light intensity.

Can you put it on a small lightstand? They move easily.

If not your options are pretty much a bracket of some kind I think.
