Not sure if I really like this sort of PP treatment or not, guess the original was pretty average to start with but I'm tempted to get it printed anyway. Is the background too distracting? worth spending the time to clone some stuff out?

Is the background too distracting? worth spending the time to clone some stuff out? some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Sep 02, 2008 17:49 | #5 thanks - will have a look at some judicious "pruning"... some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Mark0159 I say stupid things all the time More info | Sep 02, 2008 18:08 | #6 I think the crop is fine. If your going in to that old look then they wouldn't have the lens like we have today so I think the crop suits it. Mark

I like the picture... however, I think there is just too much going on in the background, too much to clone out (then it becomes "fake" imo). if it were about 20 feet higher, it would have been better. -Quentin
