My First Christian Wedding

I am new to this forum. Here is my first wedding. Please critique. Thanks

The white balance looks a little off.....and the images area a little soft. See if wb correction and sharpening helps.

what did you do to her eyes in the second shot? They seem a bit soft and there are some noise issues.

I really like the first shot, but I wish that guy in the blue shirt wasn't there. He really distracts my eye from admiring the architecture.

#2, I'm not sure what's going on, but it looks like motion blur?

#5 is a nice shot, although I'm not sure what they are doing, they look like they are just haning out there?

#6 is a nice picture, despite some noise due to high iso, it's still a good shot and sure to be one that they really like. Do you have noise reduction software? Might want to look into something like noise ninja.

#7 the brides tonge is sticking out, that one has to go. Not flattering at all.

#8 is a good picture, the white balance is just off.

Some pretty good shots, what type of camera/lenses do you use?

As already pointed out-wb is lacking and so is focus on some.You also seem to have used the shadow highlight tool heavily on some, especially pic #4 where it is very obvious. Did ur pics have a lot of shadows?
My 2 cents on the composition:
1st pic: A conventional perspective would have been better- low, dead center between the rows of chair or from a higher vantage point. It highlights the architecture and beauty of the building better. From your pic the subject of interest looks like the man in the blue shirt and even then the perspective is not good.
2nd pic: Posing guideline when taking group shots - have people turned slightly in towards the centre and looking sideways at you, so you only see 3/4 of the face. You could have moved the group away from the door in the background. Also the bride seems to be looking down.
3rd pic: Maybe a tighter shot with her looking at you.
4th pic: A wider angle would give the pic more context with guests looking on as the couple walk.
5th pic: A wide shot from right behind the couple with the couples' backs and the crucifix/ altar in focus would give the shot more interest.
6th pic: Get down to eye level.

I really had a lot to do that day. Had half the battery full and so just about managed without a flash. The white balance is totally off since I had to post process them to make them look presentable.

In the second pic she actually blinked and I did not have another shot so had to keep that one. They were all in a hurry. could not get them to pose for too much time.

#8 how should I adjust the white balance.

5. typical shot but i love it too....seen a lot on this forum will click that next time

yeah, that happens sometimes. I still like the shot.

It's not just the eyes though, it seems like the whole picture is blurry. I can't really find the focus spot?

Oh, that makes sense, I just couldn't tell from the pic. Part of the job is to tell a story, and in that one (while it is a nice pic) the story part was missing. If I could see someone on the alter, I would know what's going on, but it looks like those flowers are in the way. Not much you can do about it, just a thought.

Can't help if the tongue is in there. That also happens, I just wouldn't use it as a photo album shot.
#8 how should I adjust the white balance.
If you shot in raw, your going to need to play with the tint and temperature. If you shot in JPEG, your going to have to try to do it with the levels option. Also might want to try unsharpen mask around 30-40% at 3.0-3.6 to sharpen them up a little. That can be done in JPEG.
