I finally got the newborn shoot of my new little man done. It was a long haul but I'm happy with the results.

C&C welcome.

My favorite:

1.

IMAGE: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3111/2822464408_c3b9fdbaba_o.jpg

Another fave that looks cute in color and sepia as well..

2.

IMAGE: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3031/2822462562_0ca32c9239_o.jpg

This one didn't turn out the way I had wanted and I know there is negative space to crop (waiting on the family to decide on print sizes before I do) but it's still plenty cute to me and will be used to decorate my bathroom.

3.

5.

6. Looks a little soft here but full res is fine.

7.

8. A collage.

Awww! OK, CC, the BW could use a touch more contrast, and it's kinda sad that the rings and toes shot is soft on your ring, but I understand how incredibly hard that is... He's beautiful! Congrats!

Thanks! I had been wanting to do one of these forever and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I just wish I had done one when I had my first son.

LOL. I actually had to change the color scheme on the announcement so that the blues wouldn't clash. I pulled them from the towel. Thank goodness for smart objects!

Thanks. I figured someone would comment on the conversion but the truth is that I didn't like them with more contrast. Just personal preference I guess. I'm not too worried about the ring being soft because they are just for me but I can see how it would be nicer if it had been sharper.

It's hard with babies to find a BW conversion that's not stark or too gray. And I hear you on the ring. :) I tried and tried with Joey to get one, but the little man wouldn't stay asleep if I touched his feet and kept kicking... MY hubby was no help at holding him for me either. I was lucky I didn't loose my rings all together, LOL! It looks nice in the collage.

Thanks! #1 seems to be the winner for everyone in my family. I got so many good shots it was hard to pick and choose.
