We have these little guys in our garden this year. It's the first time I have seen them. They are very tiny with the small ones being about 4mm and the large ones about 5mm. I believe that they are the larvae of the small milkweed and large milkweed bugs. They are interesting to watch as they tend to all clump together. They are a bit camera shy and I had to sit for about 10 minutes or so before they would stay in front of the camera.
First pic taken at ISO 100, f/18, 1/250 with the 100mm and 68mm of tubes. The second pic is taken at ISO 100, 1/250, f/18 with the 100mm, 68mm of tubes, and a 1.4 T-con.
