Gotta love red bugs.

We have these little guys in our garden this year. It's the first time I have seen them. They are very tiny with the small ones being about 4mm and the large ones about 5mm. I believe that they are the larvae of the small milkweed and large milkweed bugs. They are interesting to watch as they tend to all clump together. They are a bit camera shy and I had to sit for about 10 minutes or so before they would stay in front of the camera.

And they are friendly as well. These little guy's and galls can't keep out of each others buggy shorts. It is rare that you see one alone.
