Settings when using STOFEN diffuser?

Hi. I just bought a stofen diffuser for my 580exII and I didn't liked the results... While bouncing without the stofen gives a more directional light, the stofen gives a too diffuse light with a cold (more to green) tone.

Are there any special settings or tips while using stofen?

Thanks!

Hi John - you may want to try shooting RAW and then using the eyedropper in ACR if that's the s/w you are using. A white card with the 5D will give you good results if you have the camera set to AWB. I can't think why you would be getting a green cast, unless you were dragging the shutter and had some ambient flourescent light thrown into the mix.

Out of curiousity, under what circumstances do you use the Stofen? - Stu

Um... that's what it's meant to do - soften the light that is. Tone can be corrected with white balance. Stofen is just an anagram of soften.
