Nice captures. I like the compositions, but they need a little PP to make them pop.

Number 1 is good. Nice to see a beast doing something (rather than just standing looking pretty).

What is the EXIF data ?
Nice shots for first time. Could offer some suggestions I've learned from the 100-400L after getting comfy enuff to make it my favorite glass.

Hi Tozankyaku :)
First of all: Welcome to POTN :)

I agree with Swifty on the first one. Great to have caught that! :)

PP stands for post processing. In the digital world, most pictures shot out of Digital SLRs ask for some post processing in the computer. So to speak the "development phase" that comes with film normally.

There is a lot of software out there that can accomplish this, one of the most known is Photoshop, though it IS expensive. There are some nice alternatives: Gimp for example is all free. If you conduct a forum search for GIMP you will find heaps of helpful information.

I use DPP mostly, which came with my Canon D40 on a CD. DPP stands for Digital Photo Professional (I think).

Keep shooting and showing :c) I am sure with the help of the people in this forum, you will soon know more than you ever wanted about photography ;c)
