First off, I'd like to quickly introduce myself. My name is Matt, I'm a junior at the University of Kansas studying Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. I've been taking pictures since high school and got my first real camera a couple years ago. Its just your basic Canon Digital Rebel (6.3 mp) but it gets the job done. I absolutely love photography and anything dealing with the automotive industry, and I have had the pleasure of combining my two favorite hobbies.

Anyways, enough about me and on to a few pictures I've decided to show. Both vehicles are NOT mine (I wish they were though), they belong to a couple friends I know. Please, any comments/questions, are always great! I am hoping to move up to a 40d this year!

I'm just down the road in Salina

I really like your shots, what lens did you use?

I've only passed through Salina on my way to Colorado, however, we always have to stop at the Cozy Inn for the hamburgers!!! haha, they are so greasy but we absolutely love them!!!

I thought I had my "gear" in my sig, but I guess it didn't show up... lol

I'm still shooting with the "kit" lens 18-55mm.

Welcome to POTN. Definitely a great start here, I really like the concept of that first shot, and the contrast with the red background.

Thanks so much for the welcome! I've been looking around for a day or two now and really enjoy this site a lot! There is TONS of information on here and some absolutely amazing photographers!

The first shot is definitely my favorite and the end result came out perfect in my opinion. Thanks again for the welcome and the comment! :D

I really like the concept of that first shot,

Me, too. The problem with it is that the building is killing the highlights that should be reflecting in the body in all 3 shots.
Good start here, though. Next time look for the reflections first & MOVE YOUR FEET! A <rant> of sorts.
